Frequently Asked Questions

How long can I book the field for?

Sessions are available to book online for 30 or 60 minutes. If you require longer than this then please get in touch.

Will I meet other customers leaving the field?

We allow 15 minutes between each booking so that you should not bump into the next customer. Please ensure that you arrive no more than 5 minutes before your allotted time and that you leave promptly after your allotted time finishes. Thank you.

As our car park is a shared car park, there is the chance that customers of the adjacent businesses may bring their pets with them. Please bear this in mind should you have a reactive dog as Forpets have no way of controlling this.

Do I need to clean up after my dog?

We provide dog waste bags for you to use but we ask that you clean up after your dog and use the waste bins provided.

Do I need to keep my dog on a lead?

Please keep your dog on a lead until you are all safely in the field and the gate is securely closed behind you. After that, they can be let off to run free and enjoy themselves. Please ensure your dog is back on it's lead before you open the gate to exit the field.

What facilities are available at the field?

There is a small wooden building for shelter in bad weather. There is also dog treats and dog toys available. There is agility equipment, lighting and a small shower for cleaning down your dog should they get muddy paws!

There is the Spuds & Berries farm shop and restaurant adjacent to the field. Please note that Spuds & Berries is no affiliated with Forpets and their services may change or be withdrawn at any time without notice.

Where is your dog walking field?

Our field is located on Hull Road (the A63) near Hemingbrough. It is conveniently located between Howden and Selby. It is next to Spuds & Berries farm shop and restaurant so why not pop in for a coffee and something to eat once you've exercised your pooch?

Are there toilet facilities at the dog walking field?

There are no toilet facilities at the dog walking field. However, we are next door to Spuds & Berries farm shop and restaurant. They do have toilet facilities, however you may need to make a purchase to be able to use them.
