1) Book your visit online

Easily book your visit online at www.dogwalkingfield.com. Use our simple booking form to select the date , time and duration that you would like to visit. You can then pay using either debit / credit card or paypal.

2) Find us...

We are located just off the A63 (Hull Road) between Howden and Selby. Follow the signs for Spuds & Berries farm shop and restaurant with who we share a car park.

3) Get the access code

24 hours before your visit, we will email you an access code which will allow you to unlock the gate to the field. If you book within 24 hours before your visit, we will text you the access code. If for any reason you do not receive the access code, please call 07984 145 258. The field is unmanned so it is important you bring this code with you.

Please be sure to lock the gate when you leave.

PLEASE NOTE: ONCE YOU HAVE ENTERED THE CODE IN THE LOCK YOU WILL NEED TO PRESS THE BUTTON ON THE BOTTOM OF THE LOCK TO OPEN IT.

4) Stay safe!

Please use the provided hand sanitiser prior to unlocking the gate and prior to leaving. We also provide disinfectant wipes so you can wipe down handles / surfaces prior to use should you wish to.

5) Consider other dogs

Please remember that our field is often used by reactive dogs. Please keep your dog(s) in your car until you have checked that the field is clear. We provide a 15 minute buffer between bookings to ensure that dogs don't meet each other but please ensure that you do not arrive before your allotted time and that you leave promptly. Please keep your dog on it's lead until you are in the field and the gate is closed.
As our car park is a shared car park, there is the chance that customers of the adjacent businesses may bring their pets with them. Please bear this in mind should you have a reactive dog as Forpets have no way of controlling this.

6) Turn on the lights

If it starts to get dark during your visit, you can turn on the floodlights using the switch on the fence to the left of the field entrance (opposite the shed).

Note that the lights take a few minutes to warm up when first turned on.

7) Enjoy the field!

Let you pooch run off steam while you sit and relax on our picnic bench or in our wooden shelter should the weather be unkind. Feel free to use the activity equipment provided. We also have toys and treats in the wooden shelter for you to use.

8) Enjoy the facilities

Our field is located next door to the Spuds & Berries farm shop and restaurant. Feel free to purchase food and drink from them to enjoy in our field whilst your dog exercises.

NOTE: Spuds & Berries are not affiliated with Forpets. As such, their services may change or be withdrawn without notice at any time.

9) Clean up

Please ensure you clean up after your dog. We provide dog poop bags and there are designated bins for you to dispose of their waste in. Should your dog get muddy, please feel free to use the shower hose provided to clean them down. Towels are available in the wooden shelter but please return them after use. If you have enjoyed any food or drink in the field, please clear away your rubbish in the bins provided.

10) Let us know what you think

We really hope you and your pets enjoy your time at our field. Please let us know if there is anything you would like us to change or improvements that you think we could make. You can use the 'contact us' page on this website to get in touch. We hope to see you again soon.
